Leibniz University Hannover is currently hosting an app development competition as part of the MAPPING EU FP7 project (http://www.mappingtheinternet.eu/),which is being co-financed by the EU Commission.

The competition is aiming at students, scientific personnel and other young innovators from the EU and the associated countries.

The awards are:

1. Winner: 20.000 EUR + 1 week start-up working station at CeBit 2016
2. and 3. Winner: 1 week start-up working station at CeBit 2016 each.

The awards will be presented at the *Award Ceremony* on 14 March 2016 at CeBit Scale 11 involving the *United Nations Special Rapporteur for Privacy*. The event will be accompanied by adequate *media coverage* and involve representatives of *leading companies* in the market.
